winter holiday
A dream ski holiday in the Dolomites
The largest high plateau in Europe offers beautiful slopes with snow guarantee and more than 300 days of sunshine a year. Come and ski, toboggan or hike with a fantastic view of the snow-capped Dolomites!

Skiing
The Alpe di Siusi ski area
With 60 km of slopes at all levels of difficulty, you are sure to get your money's worth. Gentle descents and racy slaloms, a children’s fun park and a snow terrain – all in spectacular surroundings – guarantee a great day on the snow for everyone. We also recommend a ski tour of Val Gardena or the Sellaronda circular trail. You can get to the slopes easily with the ski bus, which stops only 200 m away from our farm.

Cross-country skiing
Cross-country skiing with a view of the Dolomites
The Alpe di Siusi plateau is criss-crossed by an extensive network of trails for the delight of cross-country skiers. Some of the best cross-country skiers in the world choose to train here. With a panorama like this, it’s hardly surprising!

Ice skating
Ice skating on Lake Fiè
In winter, the idyllic tarn in Fiè allo Sciliar turns into a natural ice rink, offering both beginners and experienced skaters a great day out. It is only a 20-minute walk from our farm!

Tobogganing
Tobogganing in the woods
There’s nothing like the timeless fun of a toboggan ride. There are several family-friendly natural toboggan runs on the Alpe di Siusi plateau, which you can easily reach either on foot or with the lifts. Absolutely recommended: a moonlight toboggan ride under a canopy of stars.

Winter walking
Winter walking through a snowy paradise
White peaks in the background, snow-dusted trees all around you and glistening white expanses under your soles: explore the most charming corners of Alpe di Siusi on the many well-maintained winter paths and snowshoe hiking trails. You’re in for a real treat!

Relax
Relax with a traditional hay bath
Did you know that Fiè allo Sciliar used to be a spa village? The Fiè hay bath has been a natural remedy for over 110 years. It combines natural hay and medicinal herbs with heat, as these ingredients exert their full curative potential when you are sweating. Several hotels in the area offer hay baths and are open to non-residents, too.
